MP_the4pack Posted March 5, 2019 Share Posted March 5, 2019 I took my Cee Cee to my vets todays. He absolutely wants her disgusting teeth done. They could definitely be the cause of her kidney issues. Her adoption group didn't do a dental (or spay) because of the kidney values. But my vet who I've used for 25 years says he's confident she'll do fine. So she's having it done thursday. Please keep her in your thoughts as I'm not sure she's ever had anestnesia. I put Violet's last one off for a couple of reasons, but mainly because of my fear over previous anesthesia issues. In retrospect she has to have been really uncomfortable and I wish I had done it on schedule. She did great in the end, hoping Cee Cee does too and it helps bring those kidney values down! MP_the4pack Posted March 7, 2019 Author Share Posted March 7, 2019 Just picked her up. She handled the anesthesia like a champ. But lost 24 teeth. Still has 16 left. Vet said her mouth was horrible, so after a few days of healing she's going to feel great. And hopefully her kidney values will improve. I was so nervous. So now that I know she can handle the anesthesia, if her values don't worsen in 6 months, I'll get her spayed. Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts.
