Our little Greyhound girl, Tosca left us two days ago.

Five days ago we came home after running and errand and she was partially lame in her left hind leg. Due to her lumbar stenosis her right hind was not very good either, but she was able to hop outside with help from us. We decided to give it a couple of days to see if there was any improvement but there wasn't. There was a big complication- I was leaving early Monday morning to fly to Montreal to pick up our new Galgo, Enzo. I contacted our vet to please call Michael on Monday morning which she did. She suggested to add one more medication for a day to see if there was any improvement. There wasn't, plus Tosca was becoming incontinent, so it was decided that it was time for Tosca to go to the 'Bridge on Tuesday, the same day that Enzo arrived in Montreal from Spain. It was hard to not be at home with Michael when she passed, but it was the best for Tosca. So Enzo will always have a special connection with Tosca- his Gotcha Day is the day Tosca passed.

Here is little Tosca last week, before she became ill.
