1stGrey Posted September 5, 2018 Share Posted September 5, 2018 (edited) Looking for house collar recommendations! I just noticed her house collar seems to rubbing her fur off. I love her collar (the color stops people from asking if she’s a boy as much, has a boomerang tag, and it’s reflective for our early am walks), but it seems even the collar part (not just tags) are rubbing. I believe in keeping a collar on her, just in case (and also per adoption papers that she wear a collar). Does anyone have a house collar that they love that doesn’t rub? Pink and/or reflective is a bonus! Also, it would be great if it would stay on when she bends her head down, even this one sometimes falls off, which defeats the purpose! I also have leather collars from Mike Brooks with name and phone number as well. They wear the leather ones most of the time. On vacation we use the Hot Dog collars as they have our cell phone. G-d forbid if they should get lost. Love it so much and it's already broken away the way it's supposed to when it got caught on something once. We used these on all fosters without any problems. No dangling tags or rings to catch on crates or objects, etc. The tag stays on and never comes off or wears out. I bought them at GiG and ordered the Boomerang tags there as well. I love them - they don't rub the fur and they stay put pretty well (I've lost so many tag necklaces over the years, I've given up on them ).
