Guest Luna165
Hi all! I adopted my greyhound Luna just 2 days ago and she is settling well. However i noticed when she is sleeping, she breathes quite rapidly and shallowly, and in a quiet room i can hear each breath coming out of her nose. I counted approx 48 breaths per min.. should i be concerned? She had also been panting a lot during the day, even when she is lying down. She was recently neutured and is on antibiotics Thank you for any advice!
greysmom
Could be a bit of stomach upset from the antibiotics, or some leftover pain from surgery. How long ago was her spay? It is a little unusual. It's more likely I have to check and make sure mine are still breathing! Just monitor her for now until she's off any medication, though if you go in to the vet, definitely mention it.
