Guest RockChalk Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 (edited) The day finally came! I've posted a few questions on here and I can finally introduce the girl who is now going to benefit from y'all's years of wisdom. =) Today I completed the adoption of a 5 year and 9 month old broodie. The rescue group was calling her Twink, but I have an affinity for dogs named after animals so we're going to be working on getting used to Panda. She's very snuggly and smart (courtesy of her foster mom) is cat and small dog safe, and according to our trips to Petsmart and Petco has absolutely zero interest in most toys (but holy cow did she love all the ooh's and ah's and pets she was getting)! Hopefully the pictures I post actually work, she's absolutely gorgeous and I'm head over heels in love with her. The picture the adoption group took of us to post on their page ^^^ She hasn't quite figured out how to get into cars yet but she certainly likes being in them once someone's lifted her up into one! After a little help, she has realized that the giant beanbag is the best thing in this entire apartment. The neon duck is the only toy she's given any attention to. teri_d Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Congratulations rock chalk and panda - know you've been wanting this for quite some time -- glad she is settling (snuggling) in! Rock chalk from Ronee, Jill and beware of phog!! Quote
EllenEveBaz Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Photobucket isn't posting your pics but it is certain she is gorgeous. She may or may not turn out to like toys. Give her some time. Isn't it incredible to have these wondrous creatures in our lives? Quote Ellen, with brindle Milo and the blonde ballerina, Gelsey remembering Eve, Baz, Scout, Romie, Nutmeg, and Jeter
Guest RockChalk Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 (edited) Okay so I think posting them through Flickr works??? Let me try again; same order as above! Edited September 23, 2017 by RockChalk Quote

4My2Greys Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Congratulations! I love that first picture of you two. You look so happy. Panda is beautiful. The picture of her in the blue collar reminds me of my first grey Nadir. Quote
Guest goofydog2 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Welcome beautiful Panda! Shiny black hounds rock! Quote
fastpointydoge Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Congratulations on your grey! It was fun to be a small part of that journey and now you have so much more to come. I already need more pictures! It took my guy maybe a month to even try playing with his toys (I think he learned from watching my roommate's dogs) and even now he plays for about 30 seconds. And yes, it's the cutest. He really likes soft fluffy toys with a squeaker. Quote Sarah with P Kay Ruger "Rogue"

DunesMom Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Congratulations! She's gorgeous.
