Our 3 1/2 year old female recently stopped sleeping through the night. We walk both our greys in the evening to try to wear them out and feed them after we get back so they have a full tummy when we go to bed. Any suggestions?

up to pee or play? if it's pee she could be dealing the a UTI. play, then really tucker her out, at 3 they still have a ton of energy and it's difficult to exercise well in this heat. i would have the first urine of the day checked by your vet and talk to him/her. often dogs will not show the bacteria but will display the symptoms.

Ditto. Additionally, if you're feeding late, she may need to pee/poop several hours after eating, which wakes her up. And when she up she wants to play. It may be better if you feed earlier, then walkwalkwalk two hours after eating, then let her eliminate fully right before bedtime.

BUt first check out a UTI.
