Guest Luckypup Posted October 24, 2016 Share Posted October 24, 2016 One week ago today I lost my Greyhound mix and friend of 10 years after a bout with osteosarcoma of the jaw. Lucky had a rough start in life having been placed in shelters by two different families in the first two years of his life. After several months in the last shelter he finally found "His People". We were proud to have been his guardians, protectors, friends and constant companions during his time in our family. Every day as I walk past his crate I expect to see him curled up in his room, his special place. The spot on the couch next to me that he claimed as his own is empty now and he is sorely missed. For as much love as he was given he gave back even more to all those that knew him. Thank you Lucky - until we meet again.
