Guest kyleena86
Hey Guys, I have had my grey Maxi for about a year and a half now and he is awesome. such a sweet natured and happy dog. He sleeps on his bed in the corner of my room every night and is that comfortable and lazy I have to wake him up in the morning so I can go to work. For the last few months I have had my partner come and stay and every night he stays without fail Maxi will have a restless nights sleep. He will go to bed ok and then get up and bark and toss and turn all night and it is driving us both crazy. When my partner turns up during the day he is fine and jumps up on him and loves being patted etc but I would love to know what his problem is during the night and if anyone has any ideas on how I can fix the situation. Thank you KS :-)
Busderpuddle
I have no idea, but wondering if your partner is sleeping on Maxi's side of the bed, or you are ? It might be that Maxi wants to remain close to you, and your partner is in the way visually. Quote Karen
GeorgeofNE
You've upset the routine. He'll get over it. Maybe have your partner feed him his dinner and take him on the evening outing? sobesmom
I agree. A change in the routine made a change in behavior. Greys are very adaptable. He'll get used to it. Don't make a big deal of it.
