Houndtime
I have not used this item in particular, but do use many of the Springtime products. If, at any time, you are not satisfied with anything that you have purchased from them, they will refund your money or replace the item. sarabz
Hah! I'm using other Springtime supplements and like them, just wasn't sure if anyone here had personal experience with this particular one Quote Dave (GLS DeviousDavid) - 6/27/18 Gracie (AMF Saying Grace) - 10/21/12 Bella (KT Britta) - 4/29/05 to 2/13/
NeylasMom
If you're looking for something to help with Kirby's issues when you leave, I would start with DAP and either Composure or l-theanine. There are studies backing the efficacy of all of them in reducing anxiety. sarabz
Thanks Jen We're finding that odd things are triggers. 75-80% of the time he's fine but something as minor as both of us going back upstairs in the morning (versus one of us downstairs after first morning walk) can be enough to make him poop inside. But this can happen one week and he won't poop, it happens again the next and he will. Our group also recommended valerian root. DAP - collar or diffuser(s)? NeylasMom
Both if it's not cost prohibitive. Collar all the time, diffusers where he spends most of his time. Usually the bedroom and living room. You may be able to back off later. Much cheaper to buy on Amazon FYI and if the puppy size is cheaper they for most greyhounds (measure to be sure). Can take up to 4 wks to work though. grey8greys
I use the stress free calmplex chewables from Springtime for Abel, they seem to take the edge off during storms. Not a cure all, but they do help. I give 2 chewable before the storm starts.
Remolacha
I've tried them a couple of times for different thunderphobic/fireworks phobic dogs. I didn't really see any difference, and I use other Springtime products. I'd say, give it a try, different things work for different dogs. I have had good results with melatonin for mild anxiety and you can get it in a time release form so it lasts over several hours. Burpdog
Depends on how thunderphobic -- Taylor needs xanax for storms. I use a product call Calm Spirit by Health Concerns to take the edge off. Heart peed for years before she stopped with the SA Fortunately she went in the the same place so I was able to protect carpet Quote Diane & The Senior Gang Burpdog Biscuits
