Tick Protection?

Recommended Posts

After Flowers second time being extremely sick with Anaplasmosis in these last 6 months, we have switched to Nexguard. Rascal(kitty) has a Seresto collar now, he was bringing in lots of ticks before getting the collar, now not one. Flower was on Frontline plus and so was Rascal, I have been told by my Vet that Frontline is not effective any longer. We walk 3 times daily, mostly in parks that are wooded, our local news announced a month ago that Lyme disease cases have increased 120% in this area since fall and they are seeing more Anaplasmosis as well, mild winter is a contributing factor. Tick born diseases are really scary, protect those houndies!!

Ditto for me with Frontline Plus, we had a flea infestation last fall that FP failed to prevent or control. Can't speak to its effectiveness on ticks, though.
