This is a stark reminder of the dangers that all our men, women, and K-9's that serve overseas and here at home face on a daily basis to protect our freedoms. Diesel, she is a 7 year-old police K-9 with the French anti-terrorist unit known as RAID. Sadly she was killed in an early morning operation in Saint-Denis. Also, Diesel (female), a French Police K-9, was killed (I heard when the suicide bomber blew herself up) during a major counter-terror operation in the northern Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis. Police targeting the suspected mastermind of the Paris shootings, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, raided a number of apartments in Saint-Denis in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
