I started the process to adopt a greyhound this summer after meeting some greyt hounds at a horse event. My girl had some difficulty recovering from being spayed but finally got to come home about three weeks ago. She is pretty much the love of my life (don't tell my boyfriend). Her name is Rowdy (after the fighter) and she just turned two She raced, very unsuccessfully, as Swivel Gun. Now she enjoys hanging out on the futon, going for walkies around the neighborhood (and of course being adored by passers by), going hiking (and stopping to be admired), doing zoomies at the dog park (and pausing for admiration for her zoomies), snoozing on the futon, and trying to eat the cats (we're working on that one) Edited: My pics didn't work and can't access mass storage sites from work. These humans can be tricksy & not give a houndie all they are entitled to. For instance you get a treat EVERY time you potty outside, before bed.
