Guest Cardiffcouple Posted September 10, 2015 Share Posted September 10, 2015 We are heartbroken to tell you that we had to put Mercy down yesterday. She had lung cancer, but we thought we had several more months with her. Yesterday she started to bleed internally and she was in a great deal of pain. She slid to the floor and her spirit was simply not there anymore. We had to let her go. We are devastated. She was a silly, goofy imp who brought such joy to our lives. We don't know what we are going to do without her. We are hugging Rocky as much as he can stand and trying not to freak him out with our crying. I know most of you know this pain. I know it will ease in time. Right now we miss being able to hug her and tell her how much we love her. I want to include a picture to show how beautiful our sweet Mercy was but I don't know how.
