NeylasMom
I've sent an email to a behavioral trainer that is affiliated with Vancouver's Humane society to see what it would take for her to observe him and provide a professional opinion. Though do you know of a behavioral trainer in the area that has greyhound specific knowledge? We were posting so close together that I didn't see this earlier. I wouldn't worry too much about the greyhound specific knowledge. Animal behavior is animal behavior - any good certified animal behaviorist (or trainer who does behavior consults, which is what I'm guessing you are more likely to end up working with) should both know something about greyhounds and also be able to apply their knowledge of behavior modification to any breed. Glad you are looking into getting some help. Quote Jen, CPDT-KA with Zuri, lab in a greyhound suit, Violet, formerly known as Faith, Skye, the permanent puppy, Cisco, resident cat, and my baby girl Neyla, forever in my heart "The great thing about science is that you're free to disagree with it, but you'll be wrong."
