Guest lynne893
Our 7-year old grey has a fluid filled bump on the bridge of her snout this morning, maybe the diameter of a nickel. We just returned home yesterday afternoon from a long weekend in the desert to escape the fireworks in the city. My first couple of thoughts are a) sunburn/sun reaction (though she doesn't look pink); spider bite? The dogs seem snippy with each other this morning, so I wonder if the bump is bothering her? We felt it very gently and she kind of winced, so it might be a little painful. If it doesn't go down by tomorrow morning, we'll take her to vet. Any thoughts, though? tbhounds
Just might be an insect bite because it came on so acutely. Can you ice the area without hurting her or yourself? Frozen peas work really well.

Guest lynne893
Swelling is down this morning. Waiting to see if it continues to go away, otherwise if it flares up again I'll take her in!
