Just wondering if i should be worried because yesterday i was making black paint out of ground charcoal and egg yolk and i went inside to get lunch and when i came out Nina was licking up the charcoal paint because she smelled the egg yolk in it. She hasn't reacted at all so im not to worried and i heard somewhere that people give it to dogs to cure poison.

charcoal is not poisonous - not even digestable. it will likely give you nice black doggy landmines tho. think of it as a doggy detox. as long as you haven't also added any nasties to the recipe, like BLO with heavy metal drying agents.

Actually the do sell anti gas stuff for dogs made of charcoal. In addition greyhounds in the U.S. are fed meat at the track that has been denatured as not for human consumption with charcoal. Many years ago they used the purple dye old timers will remember stamped on fat part of meat as the USDA seal.
