EllenEveBaz
Took both boys to the vet this morning. Milo's annual heartworm/Lyme check was negative. Jeter had a hard, fast-growing lump on his head that I was pretty certain was benign but ... you know ... . It turned out to be just a sebaceous cyst that ruptured when the vet poked at it -- HEALED! The hounds have been celebrating the arrival of spring and squirrel season by running like maniacs in the yard, and the vet and everybody else was exclaiming (as usual ) about how muscular they are, how beautiful, how fit and trim, how friendly and happy, how well behaved (this was a temporary aberration) ......... For this moment, my dogs are perfect. I am thankful. EllenEveBaz
I hope this post doesn't strike people as insensitive to people going through big and small health problems with their hounds. Nessa, I am absolutely the world's worst picture taker. Just imagine red brindle hounds.
