That very morning a ladybug marched across our living room rug to announce your arrival. At 10.8 years old you were a bounce and I was told that you "didn't seem to have much personality." Your third Gotcha Day was brilliant, and then ... One year ago today you were gone. You were 13.10, and you left suddenly and so very quickly. We were still talking when your huge heart stopped beating. It is true: all of the new dogs who come in bring a piece of their heart with them and every dog who leaves takes a piece of our heart with them.
