Guest lbooras
My girl, Bella, has developed one swollen toe. I discovered it last night when she refused to walk on it. No idea how it happened. There is nothing on that toe to indicate an injury or bee sting or anything. I noticed that she has been favoring it about the past 2 days, but she would walk on it. I've only changed 1 thing in her diet. I added Wild Salmon Oil a week ago, a tsp every morning. Could this be an allergy?? This happened once before, but she had a huge bubble on the side of her toe too...I think this a different thing. She won't walk on it and has to be helped down the steps. Any thoughts??? greysmom
Dislocated? Probably worth a vet visit tomorrow. But if it swells dramatically today, then the evet is in order. tbhounds
To many factors to rule out --dislocation, fracture, infection, cancer...... Please see your vet (it's not an allergy). Please keep us posted. Edited March 8, 2015 by tbhounds
Guest lbooras
Yes, I should add that it's only the bottom part of the paw...near the pad. And yes, you'll see the remains of what had been a corn. It's been gone for some time. /Users/Shared/pictures/iPhoto Library.photolibrary/Previews/2015/03/08/20150308-120745/BNiKS5R3RlytBa97vxPTpA/IMG_1086.jpg trying to figure out how to post pic
