Houndtime Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Fuzzy slipped, yesterday, on the ice, and last night it took a tremendous toll on him. He began knuckling under and then his back legs starting crossing over and eventually he could not stand. He was in a lot of pain. He was unable to lay down or stand up. He began falling and it was just so difficult to watch him suffer like this. Apparently he injured his back when he fell. He has had neurological problems with his back since he has been six years old, so, we decided to end his pain tonight. We took him to Savannah Animal ER. He did not want to leave us. I held him until his heart stopped. We are just devastated.
