4My2Greys Posted February 23, 2015 Author Share Posted February 23, 2015 They have him on fluids. I didn't even need to see the bloody urine to suspect we were dealing with rhabdo. I foolishly took him to Petsmart for a bath today. He had shown so much improvement with his fears that I thought he could handle it. Boy was I wrong. Unfortunately I didn't think rhabdomylosis until we had been home about 30 minutes and I could tell he was in a lot of pain when he got up to get some water. I called the e-vet at that point and took him in. I hate that I didn't think about it earlier when he could hardly walk coming out of Petsmart. I thought it was a fearful state that was causing the trouble he was having with walking. I thought getting him home where he could calm down is what he needed. That wasted about 2-1/2 hrs between driving from Dothan to Ozark then back to Dothan for the e-vet. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
