Is it new behavior or has she always done this?

If her blood and urine both look good, it could just be idiopathic polydipsia :) My boy does the same - he's been known to drink upwards of 4 quarts a day and he's perfectly fine, kidneys concentrate urine, his numbers are good. He just really, really likes water. He also drinks when he's excited, when he's bored, when he wants attention and when he's frustrated. It's an emotional response for him.

It's not a new thing but she does lick a lot. She is on meds for that. Maybe that makes her more thirsty. Most of the time it seems like the 3 of the dogs are racing to see who finishes the water bowls first. They all have their own bowls. She doesn't have many teeth left and she really slurps up the water.
