Guest jenmm
Laurie has had seizures off and on but hasn't for a year. Her teeth just started chattering for about 15 minutes, her eyes seemed glazed. She was panting a bit afterwards. It seems similar to seizures, but without full body. I'm monitoring her now cause I'm worried..... Anyone see this happen before?
JohnF
Possibly focal seizures. Was she too hot to start with... you know how easily babies can fit if they get too hot... Mention it to your vet. If it's just the usual greyhound happy teeth chatter you don't see the glazed eye look.

greysmom
Even a focal seizure raises body temperature drastically. Try a cold pack or compress on the back of her neck. It also drops their blood sugar levels, so I always give something easy to eat right after - full fat vanilla ice cream is good for both problems. a_daerr
It does sound like a focal seizure to me, especially paired with the eyes-glazed-panting afterwards (the post-ictal phase). Henry had both grand mal and focal seizures, which have been very well controlled with Zonisamide. Is your girl taking any type of seizure meds?
