Guest Shermanator
Chase came home last night (we adopted him!) and he has the big D. I know its nerves, but what can I give him to firm up his poop? Thanks!
macoduck
Some folks will advice you add pumpkin. Start with a teaspoon per meal. While it helps some dogs with my Gracie it loosened her up instead. What kind of food is Chase getting? IAMS green bag small size kibble has fiber and will help to firm things up. Remolacha
I always start my fosters on Iams green bag. As Ducky said, pumpkin will help some dogs, be sure it is the plain pumpkin, not the spiced pie filling.

EllenEveBaz
I wouldn't give him anything solid for at least the rest of the day; give him a chance to calm down inside and out.
