Spending 14.2 months at Camp Greyhound was heaven on earth for her, I'm sure. You gave her all the love she'd been missing. That photo of her checking on Seamie on the bed in the yard is absolutely the most precious thing ever. It's like he's looking up at her as if to say......"it's ok, babe, I'm fine." The absolute most perfect thing that could happen to a complex, quirky, old broodie would be to spend her last years with you as her Mom. It's sad that you didn't have more time together, but she made the most of every second, while giving you an irreplaceable gift. How blessed you both were. I know her time with you was short, but every senior who comes to Camp Greyhound is so lucky to have found their way to you.
