MP_the4pack
I'm not a vet either, but the lines of her bones look clean and sharp. But if it's an ACL thing, she's going to have to keep quiet. That's not Brees nature.

Riverhound
I'm not a vet either, but the lines of her bones look clean and sharp. But if it's an ACL thing, she's going to have to keep quiet. That's not Brees nature. There will be drugs for her and booze for us. An ACL thing is fine by me! If that's what it is, she'll be semi-functional by Dewey, and I'll be bribing/begging for a room trade. (Second floor of the Bell Buoy. ) I think next weekend's "camping" trip at my uncle's isn't going to happen, though. The vet said the "lump" on her pelvis could be her bones compensating for a previous injury. She had a wipe-out that ended her racing career. Charlies_Dad
Good thoughts for Brees. Not a vet but her x-rays are fairly clear and can only compare with the few I have seen with Osteo. scullysmum
Sending best wishes for a speedy recovery.....I can't remember if it was the same thing but when angel Sadi smashed up her foot the vet gave her something that made her pant and whine (and apparently watch pink elephants dancing on the ceiling for six hours non-stop..... Riverhound
She just got up. That wasn't good. She's high and still in pain. The leg is clearly feeling worse than it did initially. I just called the vet to see if I can up the meds at all. I get the feeling I'm sleeping on the floor with her tonight. Thanks, everyone, for saying the x-rays look ok (other than the weirdo thing on her pelvis). I will continue to freak out, cause that's just what I do!
