I remember both you and Holly very fondly. I am so sorry that yet another of the pups that I first met here so many years ago has had to leave, and that you are feeling that awful emptiness that follows.

I know that all of my angels will give Holly a warm, waggy welcome....they will also want to have a go on her wheels too ;)

Sending lots of :grouphug

Guest Hannah

Hopefully a couple of photos for you as requested.

One of my favourite Holly photos pre-diagnosis. She was never happier than if she could find something wet, muddy, smelly, decomposed or preferably all four! to run around in.

This was taken on a stroll down by the canal, about a month earlier there had been some flooding down there and the canal and river had both over-flowed into the fields between them. The water had subsided but I discovered when Holly went for a run in the field it had left behind some seriously smelly decomposing swamp-slime. It took several baths with every pong-removing remedy you could think of before I could bring myself to breath in the same room as her and about a week before the lingering pong finally vanished.

This one is probably one of my favourite wheely photos. We had a week in Whitby, the plan was that Holly and I were going to get dropped off at Sandsend and see if we could find a holly friendly route onto the beach while the rest of the family went to some arts and crafts exhibition. we would then get picked up on the way back.

As it was the middle of summer the dog restrictions were in place and the only way down onto the dog section was down a fairly steep flight of stairs. I was getting ready to go ask the lifeguards if we could be permitted to use the slope when Holly decided that she was perfectly capable of going down the stairs and set off! I set off after her and was stopped briefly by a lady when I hit the sand who told me it was lovely to see my dog still enjoying myself but she wouldn't keep me as I probably needed to catch up. Holly was halfway across the sand towards the sea so I thanked her and set off in hot persuit of the wheeled monster.

She had a lovely time racing around on the beach, paddling in the sea and chasing seagulls. Normally she didn't hesitate to run her wheels over anything (and everyone), but she found a pebble that even she decided not to attempt to bump the wheels over.

Yesterday was a very mixed day of weather, it was sunny and rainy but no sign of either rainbow or thunder.

Then late yesterday evening just in the last rays before the sun set I was stood alone in mum and dads lounge looking out of the window when a rainbow popped into existence. I just had enough time to take a quick photo on the phone and blow a kiss before it vanished as quickly as it had appeared. I guess she is busy having fun and re-acquainting herself with old friends and just had enough time to briefly say hello.

Wonderful pics Hannah, she does look like she loved her wheels and I can almost smell the swamp slime :lol

Good girl for finding the time to send you a rainbow so soon too :)

You are both remembered fondly and my current kittehs love their fleece pads and stuffed critters that came from you ages ago. Run with the angels sweetie. Good job on the rainbow.
