Guest AngelPup
We've been dealing with a corn on our grey's rear, right paw. Tried soaking, moisturizing, and Duck tape method with some success, but it's slow going and never seems to grab the whole corn. At our last vet appointment for something unrelated, the vet took a look at her corn and suggested trying Kerasal. She said it could soften it up and get rid of it over time. She said that they use it on cat's pads that have abnormal growths and it seems to work well. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Batmom
Tried it. Useless. We hulled ours (Grassmere method) , and once hulled then lasered (surgical laser, not cold laser) . After the laser, it was g.o.n.e. Guest normaandburrell
The only thing that helped our dog's corn was hulling.
Guest AngelPup
Ok, thanks. Her corn never looks 'ready' to hull. Even after soaking--it's in there good! Once it raises a bit, the Duck tape usually pulls off the top layer, but that's it. Seems to never end. Oh well. I guess I'll return the Kerasal. NeylasMom
I had success using a similar product called Kerasolv on some keratinized pad that Neyla had, but no experience using it with a corn. Maybe it would help soften the surrounding pad, making the corn easier to hull?
