Guest gbink26
We have a foster female greyhound born May 2012 who has white stripes/lines across each of her nails. Her NGA does not indicate they were present when she was registered in Sept 2013. I have asked two vets (via photo) and neither has any explanation what it could be. There does not seem to be anything unusual or bothersome going on. Any insight would be appreciated.
EddiesMom15
In humans, white lines across the nails are calles Lees Lines. They are a symptom of exposure to heavy metals, and are commonly seen in cases of arsenic poisioning. Quote You! Out of the gene pool!
Guest gbink26
That was the only thing I could find on the Internet but only related to humans not Canines. I am considering getting her tested for toxins and/or heavy metals.
