brindlehound
Magic has some back-end issues. The vet said he most likely has degenerative myelopathy. Others who know have suggested LS. I can't afford an MRI for an absolute diagnosis. My housemate leaves the door open so Magic can go out into the fenced-in yard during the nice days. Magic takes full advantage of it and has to go down and up 2 steps. Is it possible that he could be overdoing it? This evening he was having a hard time standing up. I took him for a walk and he did fine. I try to close the door when I'm around but it's not always possible if I'm out. Thanks. tbhounds
Exercise is good-it will keep his muscles toned. Obviously common sense must prevail but, what you're describing sounds reasonable too me.
