robinw Posted March 2, 2014 Share Posted March 2, 2014 Sasha passed away unexpectly Friday night while at home. My mom had taken her to the vet that afternoon because she missed a meal; unheard of for Sasha! She was put on antibiotics and all seemed fine. Later that night my mom heard three short squeals. She found Sasha on the floor, already gone. Sasha was my parents' samoyed. She was very special. When my father unexpectly slipped into a coma at home almost two years ago, she placed her head under his dangling arm and kept pushing it up, like she was trying to bring him back to life. She even attended his family - only memorial service. She kept my mom sane after dad's death and gave her a reason to go outside several times a day. She is devastated. I like to think that she has been reunited at the bridge with my dad. With her family, including bridge angel Treasure. Quote Xavi the galgo and Peter the cat.
