Guest antiqueal
I have a small child's fishing rod (3' long) with a small toy attached to the end of the line that use to play with my cat. My new grey has started becoming very interested in chasing the toy inside the house and there is not enough room. Has anyone tried this outdoors with a big fishing rod and a toy? Time4ANap
Search for the term Lure Pole. I know that there are some people here who use them. Found this on YouTube Quote Camp Broodie. Sambuca
I use a lure pole in my condos tennis court. Sailor loves it, when he's in the mood.
greysmom
I bought a 6 foot lunge whip from the local feed and farm store. Tie a plastic bag or light toy on the end of the whip. Probably a bit more durable than a toy fishing rod (or a real one, for that matter). The first time your dog catches the toy and takes off, you'll wish for something sturdier!! GreytHoundPoet
We've both made lure poles(wooden poles and rope) and bought lunge whips for lure play.
