Guest MnMDogs Posted February 11, 2014 Share Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) In the end, it wasn't the weak hind end that took him, it was a suspected cancer in the elbow joint of his right leg. Sunday night, he was playing outside in the rain. Monday at 1:00, we were faced with the awful decision to set him free from his pain. There are so many things I could say about this wonderful old man. We had quite a journey in our 9 and a half years together. But since the tears are far from gone, I just want to add something that was sent to me yesterday. Native American Prayer I give you this one thought to keep - I am with you still - I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain.
