Round Worms

If this is a new hound from a group, chances are it has already had some de-worming done on arrival at the group. It would be better to find out from the group what treatments the hound has already had and finish or continue those as needed..

I've found that Panacur works great and helps to calm the tummy at the same time. The hound may have already had a dose of Panacur at the group and may just need the follow up dose that is usually give about 2-3 weeks later. (SafeGard is the retail package, Panacur is what it's labeled at the vet)

I don't recognize that drug name from any of the treatments we've done, but someone with more vet or drug knowledge will most likely chime in here.

Ok ill tell her to ask The group She doesn't have a computer so im asking for her. The name on the box she said is Pro-sence

This is what her vet gave her, The dog does have round worms. But her vet is not knowledgeable with greys that is why I told her I would ask here,

The drug that you named is not one I have seen mentioned here in regular use for greys. If it's a liquid, it gets rather poor reviews on a few websites where I found a product with a similar name.

Bumping this back to the top hoping that one of the vets or vet techs on GT sees this and can advise if it's safe for greys.
