RaineysMom
crap. I posted here a couple days ago that Larry tore the webbing on his back foot pretty bad on Sunday. Bruce took him to the vet just at 1pm today and the vet says it is really bad, really deep....and needs to be stitched :( I am so afraid of having my guys put under, I know you all feel the same. If you could spare a prayer for him to come through ok we sure would appreciate it my poor little Lare Bear Quote Kim and Bruce - with Rick (Rick Roufus 6/30/16) and missing my sweet greyhound Angels Rainey (LG's Rainey 10/4/2000 - 3/8/2011), Anubis (RJ's Saint Nick 12/25/2001 - 9/12/12) and Zeke (Hey Who Whiz It 4/6/2009 - 7/20/2020) and Larry (PTL Laroach 2/24/2007 - 8/2/2020) -- and Chester (Lab) (8/31/1990 - 5/3/2005), Captain (Schipperke) (10/12/1992 - 6/13/2005) and Remy (GSP) (?/?/1998 - 1/6/2005) at the bridge"Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. Tallgreydogmom
I have been using the small baby diapers to bandage the feet with. It makes it so much easier than trying to wrap the entire foot. Just a thought in case he needs a bandage on his foot. So happy he made it thru and is doing well. TINMANPDX
Sending prayers and well well wishes for Larry. Elliott had a similar injury a couple of years ago and we had it stitched. Took several weeks to heal and we had to take him in every few days to have it re bandaged, but it healed nicely. Hoping the same for Larry. RaineysMom
Thanks for the good thoughts he's doing ok, not happy having to be leash walked in our backyard when he has to do his business, and VERY unhappy he's not getting his daily walkie He goes tonite for his first bandage change, has to have one every 3 days. Hopefully they don't charge us for them, the stitching alone was almost $550. Guess no Xmas gifts for me and Bruce this year.... 4My2Greys
Poor Larry, foot injuries can take a long time to healed. How did Larry's bandage change go? Is the pad healing like it should? Did the vet charge you for doing the bandage change?
