I never thought I'd be posting this so soon....

AMF Queen was the second Greyhound I adopted...I remember looking up all of Pawn's siblings and I found her racing at Dairyland in Wisconsin. I waited in anticipation for her to retire for 3 months. A lot of people came together to ensure her adoption... I watched her run her last race and took the trip to pick her up. She crawled into the back of the trunk(the seat was folded down and she apparently preferred to scootch all the way back) and curled up for the whole ride back to Indiana. I formally adopted her 9/26/04. She was a lively little girl that loved life with her littermates, Pawn and Bishop. They became known as 'The Chess Pack' to many greyhound friends and families. She welcome 150+ fosters into the pack and 2 more permanent residents-Butter and Irene. There wasn't a moment she wasn't getting mouthy or turning on her 'radar ears.' If you didn't give her what she wanted she'd bark in your face. She did therapy work with Harbor Light Hospice for 3 years and visited many nursing homes and hospitals. You'll be missed girlie. Run free at the bridge, and I know your littermates King, Castle, En Passant, Gambit, and Rook will be welcoming you up there hopefully you'll be running through the fields playing a game of Chess.
