4My2Greys Posted October 4, 2013 Author Share Posted October 4, 2013 We are back from the vet. He was given a shot of Buprenorphine for pain and to help relax him. Prognosis does not look good . The clot has now severely blocked blood flow to both hind limbs. The vet also noted fluids in his lungs indicating he has thrown clots to the lungs also. I'm afraid I'm going to lose him soon. We tried for three days and in the end it was clear that it was cruel to keep him going any longer. I wish for a different outcome for you and Nadir.
