Guest btshapir
Yesterday my little girl wouldn't eat her breakfast, and on further inspection, it appeared she had a sore gum. She very soon regained her appetite, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't something more serious. Perhaps someone here has seen something similar to confirm or deny my instinct before I get her to the vet. It has not worsened in the last 36 hours at all, and she has not again lost her appetite. tbhounds
That lesion doesn't look like it should deter your girl from eating--think its an innocent bystander. Not to say you shouldn't keep an eye on it though. You may want to apply this product on the gum line to reduce the inflammation and withhold chewies until the lesion is resolved.... http://www.petkingbrands.com/products/bioteneAntiGel.html
Guest btshapir
So you don't think it's an abscessed tooth or anything like that?
tbhounds
So you don't think it's an abscessed tooth or anything like that? I'm sorry I'm just seeing your question now--no it doesn't look like an abscess too me. She may have aggravated her gum while chewing on something, however, I would certainly keep an eye on it.
