greydad92
Hi All, My heart is warmed by all your wonderful posts. Thank you so much for being there for me. My house is quiet. Zero's giant 52" diameter bed is still right next to mine. I can't see him, but I know he's right there next to me. When I get home from work and open the garage door I can still hear him barking with excitement to see his daddy. As sad and lonely as I am, I am happy that he is running free with my previous dog Echo and pain free. Zero had a very strong soul which will last forever. My heart goes out to the rest of you who also lost your best friends. We will all be reunited with them someday, I feel very strongly about that. Thanks again to all of you who took the time to express your condolences. It means so much. Guest Liz_in_PA
I too remember when you adopted Zero and his challenges in teaching you how to be his person. Isn't amazing how the dog you know in months one and two isn't the same as the dog in month 36? I grieve for your loss and celebrate the joy he brought to you. Robin1017
Tony, I have always loved seeing Zero on GA walks. I hadn't seen you guys for a while, as he began having his back end issues and went on fewer of the walks, and I missed some for various reasons over this past winter, but I always watched for him. I was so glad, in these past few months, that I got so see you and Zero on more of the walks, even if he couldn't do the whole thing. I made sure to give him love and pets whenever I saw him. Zero will always be missed on our walks, as all of our hounds are. Know that we are thinking of you and are very sad for your loss. Cathy & Robin Quote Cathy & Calvin (DOB 9/18/13).
