Guest DanTheMan
Winnie will be 13 this November and is very healthy and active. However, for about a week now I've noticed she's been favoring her right rear leg somewhat. I took her to the vet today and they did some xrays of her back legs and hips and everything came out clear (thank you God) except for some arthritis in her tail. She's on Proin for a leaky bladder which means she can't take a long-term nsaid so I started cold laser therapy. The vet said they've seen good results with it. It's for 6 treatments, every other day. I would love to hear if anyone has tried it and what their results were. Thanks!
krissn333
We did it with angel Sutra when he had issues with his knees. Totally awesome results! PrairieProf
It's awesome. My vet is a huge supportive, and it seems like progressive vets pretty much everywhere are offering it. Absolutely zero discomfort or risk to your dog, too. Guest 4rooers
My boy Rourke partially degloved a back paw. The laser healed it almost completely in 3 weeks.
Walliered
I tried it on DaVid. Today we went to Charleston and the vet tried Sound Wave on DaVid. It is like laser (light), but using sound. They have to be sedated for this one because it is a very loud popping sound and it is a little uncomfortable, but I believe it is worth a try. It may be available in your area? Bogangles
We have had four sessions with laser therapy and hoping it will make a difference. Our greyhound has trouble with his spine and was lifting his rear right leg. It appears that he may have some like a "pinched nerve". We feel optimistic that this treatment will benefit and would be very interesting to know how it works for you.
macoduck
One of the vets who spoke at Mountain Hounds this year really liked the cold laser therapy and highly recommended it.
