I thought I copied it and kept it, but I can't find it now (it may have been lost in a new laptop data transfer). Did anyone keep it? Or can someone tell me where to look or who to ask? Most of the commonly used drugs these days are safe for greyhounds, and there are lots of good protocols available. I especially agree with her comment that "often, the safest anesthetic protocol is the one your veterinarian has the most experience with." My vet has put my old boy under quite a few times by now - he is eleven and a half - for one thing or the other, and I feel she has got it down to a fine art. Something not mentioned there, but which does really seem to make a difference to speeding up his recovery time, is opting to use an IV line to maintain hydration.
