Hey everyone! This beautiful creature is the newest member of my family, she is a 20 month old American Staghound, which is part Greyhound part Scottish Deerhound that I adopted from a rescue. I had every intention of adopting a retired racer and that is what I was looking for when I came across this girl and it was love at first sight! This is my first sighthound so I am sure I will have MANY questions and look forward to getting to know some of you. I was very pleased to hear that this community doesn't discriminate to "the fuzzies" as I really want to have a place to turn when I have questions!

Her name is Isabella or Izzy for short. I have only had her for for a week and 1/2 and I am already soo in love with her. She had a rough start to life but believe me she is now on easy street ! Where do I post if I have questions ?
