We are so very sorry for your loss of such a large spirit in such a small package. She was so well-loved by so many people and houndies....and many are grieving her loss. Your good thoughts and prayers mean so much to us. Jilly's was such a huge presence in our home and her absence is quite over whelming. I had not realized how much the daily routine was based on her these last 8 months. We are all a little lost right now. We will get through this though. Jilly would expect us to do that. Thank you again. The fact that Jilly touched so many lives is quite a tribute to her. I have a JRT and I know how much, although they can be a total PITA, they can wrap themselves around your heart. Greytalk will not be the same without Jilly. I always enjoyed looking for her little white body among the sea of greyhounds in your photos. Though small in body, Jilly was a giant in spirit, and will be deeply missed by many people. I only hope that Huckleberry keeps holding on to that spark of Jilly-ness he found in his own heart, so that he can carry on the legacy of keeping greyhounds in line at our house. One of the first posts I read when I joined GT was one of your posts with a picture of Jilly Bean in the yard with all the greyhounds. She made me smile then and everytime I read a post about her. I am truely sorry for your family's loss and I can almost see her now up there trying to whip my Teddy into shape, he never did know he was a greyhound. Hugs to you and your family from me. Our sincere condolences in your painful loss of that most special little "big" character girl of yours. Your stories and photos of her made us feel like we knew her. Jilly Bean will be missed, and always remembered by so many of us on GT. Jilly Bean, Please watch your family closely today - your 14th birthday. They'll need to feel your bright spirit from above as they miss you so much, especially today. Hopefully, you're having a doggie reunion with your other Greyhound family members in heaven today too.
