I figure I'll start around 10:00 CST (45 min from now) The upgrade should not take too long, but fixing things up afterwards may take a bit. Technically speaking, well not too technically, just how does the cache cleaning fix things? When a site like this gets updated, the new things on the server do not interact well with the old code stored on your computer. Cleaning the cache, removes that old code on your computer and downloads a fresh copy, which has been updated to work with the site upgrade.
