Guest BooMooandDoo Posted December 3, 2012 Share Posted December 3, 2012 Suddendly, I lost my heart dog last night. Truman Montgomery Anderson Schroeder now runs with the angels. I am thankful that I was with him until he drew his last breath. I feel slighted as he was way too young. . . .. but I don't think if I had him for 50 years I would have been ready. Truman came to me as the most obnoxious teenager. . . . . and I vascillated between finding his antics funny and debating on whether or not I should return him. I stuck with him, we competed in obedience as team (where he completed his novice title), and had "that dog" that won the most tricks at every greyhound event we went to. Truman was the most lovable, goofy, mischevious, and truly the most amazing greyhound I've ever known. He was my shadow, my confidant, my daughter's best friend, and an incredible member of my family. He will be terribly missed but never forgotten. pictures from yesterday morning. . . . . I loved hearing stories about what his latest thing he did in the kitchen I know you will miss him like crazy and there's a huge hole in your heart. We are grieving with you as we suddenly lost our 7 yr old, Robin, to cancer, just a couple of weeks ago. Rest in peace, sweet Truman.
