hi. so sorry to hear about this situation!My 8 year old grey was doing this when she would eat but there was no blockage.She was always hacking/coughing after eating.My vet suggested blending her food in the blender so its softer for it to go down her throat. He also suggested pepcid! We have been doing this for her for over a month now. no more regurgating! yours sounds way more serious so sorry if this response isnt helpful. just thought i would throw it out there.

So very sorry you had to let her go. What a hard hard decision, made with love and caring.

Your baby is at peace now. I hope they can figure out what happened so the next pup who

has it can be helped quickly.
