Newgreymom
Does anyone know what the protocol is for a greyhound taking 1/4 aspirin post stroke and using Rimidyl? I know I spoke to Dr. Couto about it a few years ago and for the life of me I can't remember what he said. I believe he said it was safe because the aspirin was such low dose. Daisy came around the corner and her toes twisted and they are slightly swollen today.
PatricksMom
I was told no with 40.5 mg of asprin and meloxicam, for what it's worth. Is Tramadol an option, that's safe with asprin. tbhounds
Dr Couto is fine with using both--the aspirin dose is low enough. My girl was under Dr Couto and Dr Uries care and at the time she was taking a high dose of pred along with the prescribed 20mgs of aspirin.
