msjpk
For a couple of days now, Plummer has been throwing up in the morning. He has done this in the past as it was phlegm, but now his food is coming up. I just started including an acid reducer in his food, I will monitor him. Has anybody experienced this and would a food for sensitive stomach work? Plummer is 12 and is on Doxie for his infected toes. We just visited the vet and he got a good report!!! Ugh!!!! tbhounds
The doxy is most likely doing a number on his tummy. Are you giving it with food?

tbhounds
yes, giving the doxy with food If trying meds like Prilosec isn't working you might need to switch antibiotics.
cleptogrey
can you divide the antibiotics up to a couple of dosages during the day? each dose accompanied by a small meal?? i usually do that w/ doxy, it's really hard on the tummy. i also use pecid ac, generic if needed and lots of probiotics when on antibiotics.
