Mr. Basil made his own, unique paw print in your heart! I believe we have room for other unique paw prints in our hearts. They don't "fill in" the previous prints, but reside right there next to them. So sorry for the loss of your Dear Mr. Basil. Sending love and strength to help heal your hearts.
