When To Give Pepcid In Conjunction With Antibiotics?

Dylan is on Amoxicilin for a puncture wound on his foot. He gets upset belly when he takes them so I want to give him some Pepcid AC. He takes them 3x a day, so when is the best time to give ABX?

I usually give at least a small snack if I need to give ab's additionally from meals. Reduce other meals accordingly.

don't forget the probiotics, often you can get away w/o pecid ac if you do probiotics(caplets) w/ such a mild antibiotic.i add them to every meal and maintain it's use after the antibiotics are finished. it's doxycycline that kills the gut! that's when i usually pull out the pecid.

Santannah is taking pepcid AC now 5mg twice a day. Plus she is still on her antibiotics and a few other things.

Hopefully after the ultrasound tomorrow, that will change for the better.
